How to Play Pirots 3
The Collection Pays mechanic makes a welcome return on the Pirots 3 slot, and that means creating wins across its 6x7 grid configuration is not as straightforward as on other slots. The Pirots land on every spin, and when symbols of the same color are adjacent to them, the Pirots walk through them in a path-like manner and collect them until no more of the same color symbols are adjacent to them.
As for the symbols, they can level up from 1 to 7, so the payouts will increase as a spin progresses. Therefore, you can expect the symbols to pay in the following ranges:
- Red Gem: 0.10x - 30x
- Purple Gem: 0.10x - 15x
- Green Gem: 0.05x - 10x
- Blue Gem: 0.05x to 7.5x
Pirots 3 Bonus Features and Free Spins
Collection Meter
As the Pirots collect regular-paying gems and wild symbols on a spin, a meter above the reels fills up. Each time the meter is full, you’re awarded a Pending Feature. These stack up with up to three allowed in the queue at any time. These trigger at the end of the spin and can be one of the following:
- Collected Upgrade Symbols: These will update Gems by between 1 and 3 levels. The maximum level a gem can reach is 7.
- Collected Upgrade All: Rather than a single type of Gem, this will upgrade them all by 1 to 3 levels.
- Key: This triggers the Locked Up Bandit feature, which releases the Bandit so it can collect symbols on the reels. If the Bandit bumps into Pirots, it will fight them. If he manages to beat all four of them, it triggers the Bandit Coin Bonus.
- Symbol Transforms: Once collected on the reels, this symbol will transform a random number of Gems into the same color as the Pirot that collected it.
- Peanut: Once collected, this symbol puts peanuts on the reels, and these allow the Pirots to travel to the same colored Gems more than one position away.
- Dynamite: Will explode once collected or at the end of the spin. The explosion will remove a random number of symbols from the reels and expand the reel configuration to 8x7.
- Wild Symbols: This will substitute for all regular symbols when winning combinations are possible.
- Coin Symbols: These hold cash values of up to 100x the stake.
Locked Up Bandit
A Bandit is locked in a cage to the side of the reels, and if released during a spin, that Bandit will move around the reels collecting up gems and other symbols.
Coin Game Bonus
The Coin Bonus feature will trigger if all symbols are cleared from the reels. Random Coin Bags and Scorpion symbols are dropped onto the reels. Either one of the Pirots or the Bandit will go around collecting the coin bags, but once a Scorpion is collected, the bonus comes to an end.
Showdown Feature
When Pirots bump into each other on the reels, they’ll either exchange places so they can carry on collecting, or they will fight. If the latter, they will shoot at each other but hit symbols on the reels. The Scatter symbols, Keys, and Coins are collected while the Gems are removed, and Dynamite blows up.
Train Heist Feature
Train images sit beneath the reels, with one on either side of the grid. When Pirots have cleared the symbols above both during a spin, the Train heist feature triggers. Essentially, between 1 and 3 special symbols are randomly added to the reels.
Free Spins Bonus Game
The main bonus triggers when you land three or more scatter symbols anywhere in view. You’re given 5 free spins, and during these spins, the symbol collection meter does not reset between spins. On top of that, whenever the Pirots collect scatters, you receive an additional free spin.
