Blackjack Surrender (BGaming)
Blackjack Surrender is an H17 NDAS blackjack table with the surrender rule. It is effectively a multi-hand blackjack table on which you can play up to 3 hands per round. The usual hit, stand, split and double down rules apply. However, what makes this table special is that if you don’t like your first 2 cards, you can choose to surrender.
Table Layout
There are 6 decks of cards in the shoe with each deck containing 52 cards and 3 positions to place bets. Your chip denominations are at the bottom of the table. Simply choose your chip size, add it to the position(s) you would like to receive cards, and try to beat the dealer’s hand with a total of as close to 21 as possible without your hand going bust.
Gameplay Options
You can bet on 1, 2 or 3 positions per betting round. Once your bets are down the following blackjack rules apply:
- Betting Options: Chip denominations are 1, 5, 10, 25 or 100. This changes depending on the currency or crypto you are using to bet.
- Hit: Each time you would like a new card, press ‘hit’.
- Stand: If you are happy with your hand total press ‘stand’.
- Double: You can choose to double on 9, 10 or 11 hand totals. This will add a bet amount equal to your original bet and the dealer will give you 1 more card.
- Split: You can split 1 time only, and only when you have 2 cards of equal value. An additional bet equal to the original will be placed on the new hand, and you then play as normal. However, if you split Aces, then you will only be able to draw 1 more card.
- Surrender: The early surrender rule allows you to surrender your hand in exchange for half your bet in return. You cannot use late surrender i.e., you cannot surrender your hand after any of using ‘hit’, ‘stand’, ‘double’ or ‘split’.
- Rebet: You can place the same bets again after the betting round is over.
If you would like t to configure certain game options, there is a menu where you will the sound & music. You will also find the game rules here too.

Conclusion
You will need to use the 6-deck H17 NDAS basic strategy charts to play this variant of blackjack. Of course, it is best to choose a chart that includes the ‘early surrender’ rule within its options. This rule is popular amongst blackjack players that generally don’t want to play versus the dealer with hand totals that have a very low win percentage chance versus the dealer. In other words, receiving half your bet back is more profitable in the long run (or at least reduces your losses) as opposed to playing the hand by choosing ‘hit’ or ‘stand’.
As for Blackjack Surrender’s overall rules, most blackjack players would prefer a game with rules that are slightly more liberal. For example, ‘double any total’, ‘double after split’, and the ‘S17’ rule forcing the dealer to ‘hit’ on soft 17 hands. That said, this game does have 6 decks versus 8 decks, which does slightly increase your chances of winning.
